Senior Cricket This Week (23 - 29 May):

The 1st XI look to build upon their first league win and start on a cup run. The 2nd XI and 3rd XI are hoping for their first league wins of the season.

  • WEDNESDAY - Training at Barn Elms Sports Trust from the later time of 7-9pm.
  • THURSDAY - 1st XI vs Cobham Avorians (home) in Round 2 of the Surrey Championship T20 Cup. Start time 5.30pm, supporters welcome!
  • SATURDAY - 1st XI vs Epsom (away), 2nd XI vs Worcester Park (home), 3rd XI vs Malden Wanderers (home), 4th XI vs Dulwich (away).
  • SUNDAY - Sunday XI vs Wimbledon United (home).

Senior Cricket Last Week (16 - 22 May):

  • 1st XI won vs Farnham (scorecard here) by 69 runs. An excellent team performance and a first league win of the season!
  • 2nd XI lost vs Hampton Wick Royal (scorecard here) by 6 wickets.
  • 3rd XI lost vs Roehampton (scorecard here) by 171 runs. Youngsters Ben Jones and Arin Gramopadhye both took 3 wickets against a very strong Roehampton side, but the Bank chase never really got going.
  • 4th XI lost vs XPSGCC (scorecard here) by 19 runs. Chasing 180 to win looked a long way off at 108/9, but Rohit Nag and Lance Sapsford put on 52 for the last wicket before falling just short.
  • Sunday XI won vs Wisley (scorecard here) by 9 wickets. Mo Dilshad led the way with the ball with 5-54, before Shiraz Husain's 98 not out powered the Bank to victory.
  • Bank Blitz T20 XI lost vs Nasir (scorecard here) by 9 wickets. Yogi Patel's unbeaten 50 helped the Bank to a competitive 146-6, but the opposition batting proved to be too strong.

Weekly MVP - Rohit Nag
(Based on the BOECC fantasy cricket league points, Saturday games only during the league season).
